What is Senior Referral and Placement Agency?
Senior Referral and Placement Agencies help families through the process of finding senior housing services. Agencies vary in size and the services they provide. Some will simply send a list of all the available housing options while others will work with you to narrow down options based on your needs. Generally, the services they provide is free to the consumer.
What is OSRAA?
OSRAA is a membership-based association of Oregon Senior and Placement Referral Agencies. Membership is available to any Oregon-based Senior Referral Agency who has been in business for a minimum of three years and after a membership application process and is found to meet our ethics and standards.
Why use a Senior Referral and Placement Agency?
An Agency can save you time, worry, and stress by helping you find the right senior housing and care. An agency should take time to get to know you so they can eliminate options that are not in line with your needs. A reputable agency will do the groundwork for you by previewing homes, checking for openings, and reviewing public disclosure files (complaints).
Why use an Agency who is a member of OSRAA?
Senior Housing and Referral Agencies are unregulated by the State of Oregon, but members of OSRAA have committed to a high level of excellence.
